Everything fades away, but not our gratitude. We shall always pray that God will abundantly bless those who have been so good to us.
-St. John Bosco

Dear friends,

I am deeply humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve as the newly appointed director of Salesian Missions. It is an honor and privilege to be entrusted with such an important role in an organization that is making a remarkable difference around the world.

Just as our founder Don Bosco dedicated his life to helping poor youth, I too dedicate my vocation to helping young people achieve their God-given potential and pursue futures filled with new hopes and new dreams.

As a former school administrator and youth minister, I know firsthand what it takes to transform an impoverished child into a happy, healthy and productive individual. And, my experience as the Provincial Treasurer has prepared me to be a trustworthy steward of your donations. I can assure you that I will be the shepherd of your support; watching over it and guiding it to its intended purpose.

Don Bosco once said, “Without you, I can do nothing.” And those words still ring true to this day. I am grateful for your prayers, compassion and generosity, which enable us to help the millions of impoverished children and families in our missions.

The work of our Salesian family continues to grow and expand, bringing life-changing education, vocational training, social support, and critical humanitarian assistance to the most destitute communities in more than 130 countries around the world. We are providing youth with the tools they need to shatter the chains of generational poverty and allow them to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society.

With your continued partnership and the strong foundation built by my predecessors, we are well positioned to continue helping the poorest of the poor and making the world a better place. I am honored to be able to carry on Don Bosco’s legacy and am inspired by your unwavering support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and prayers.

All God’s blessings, now and always,

Father Michael Conway, S.D.B.
Director
