Born in East Liverpool, Ohio and graduating from high school in Southern California, Sandra has been interested in art and design since early childhood. She attended UCLA until moving to New York City to study at The Art Student's League. With boundless determination and energy, she continued to cultivate her talents at home while raising her young children.
In 1983, Sandra received her first national recognition when she was honored with both the Print of the Year and Artist of the Year awards from the National Association of Limited Edition Dealers. The honors and awards have continued, including Artist of the Year for an unprecedented eight times.
